yes fortunately now I'm told they are planning for January but I think as France will find it's too late to lock down now better off keeping the vulnerable safe and letting all the under 40's catch it recover and no longer be infectious

In the mean time SKDC has now reached 1264 cases but the rate of positive tests seems to be in decline

I notice Impington has surging cases though up to 1184 and they are a much smaller population than us

211 new positive tests in the local district last 7 days which is more than had been recorded after the first lock down  + 1 death

but the local data for Stamford is lagging behind only up to 27 Oct 16 in 7 days

I was hoping the rate was slowing but doesn't look as if it is eusasmiles.zip

In terms of cases per 100000 Impington has caught up with Notposhborough

Just looked at the current stats.

Melton had fewer cases last week than the week before.

B&H had fewer cases last week than the week before.

South Kesteven had fewer cases last week than the week before.

I did think it had leveled off but it's still worryingly high and still loads of people not bothering with social distancing or wearing masks and we keep hearing of people locally newly tested positive

We had a Council briefing on this last night. One of the factors with the figures going down are that a lot of the students that tested positive are now coming off the list so although it appears that the numbers are coming down there are still a lot of infections in the wider community.

Indeed, and sadly folks will die.

But I'm not convinced things are, or will be, as bad as we are being told.

so SK up to 1797 but we are now down to 3rd worst in lincolnshire with east lindsey just 3 short of 2000 and lincoln up to 1816 but 4 deaths in South Kesteven

and the figures keep on rising which goes to show the lockdown was too little too late

Government should have kept pubs and clubs shut and paid them their expenses to remain viable

But Australia is covid free at the moment so they are getting it right !
