Heres someone who knows it all..

"I don’t and will not wear a mask while I’m driving - passengers or no passengers. I like to be able to see where I’m going, and as I have to wear glasses to drive, it would be more dangerous for me to wear a mask than not...
seriously though - my glasses steam up when I wear a mask, not a good idea when I’m driving.
And before anyone suggests washing up liquid or anything else, been there, done it, and glasses still not clear enough to see properly..."
Ok, so I don’t wear a mask but my passengers do - who’s protected and who isn’t?
you can transmit to them... they are protecting you

masks protect others, not the wearer
But hang on a minute - if a mask wearer has the virus and coughs in my presence, he/she can’t infect me, just as if I was positive and sneezed without using a mask, and they’re wearing a mask, they can’t get it either. Right?

the mask stops his/her spreading the virus further
But it doesn’t stop the virus from spreading. It doesn’t stop particles from the wearer’s mouth from landing on someone else. It doesn’t stop those particles from getting through and infecting the wearer.
And remember - that’s the government website and they’ll tell us anything they want.
I’m afraid their figures during this time have been (and still are) incorrect. And they’ve said as much.
Like I said before - whilst I still have a choice, I won’t wear one while driving. That’s MY choice and MY right. If a passenger wants me to wear a mask, I will refuse - on the grounds that they’re more likely to be involved in a car accident if I do. And where do I stand then regarding insurance?
No they haven’t - 50,000 people have died during Covid and have allegedly tested positive. Covid has not been the direct result of many of those deaths.
Of those where it has been involved, they already had life threatening/shortening conditions and would very likely have had the same result with the flu or norovirus.
I believe I had it back in January and February - the only symptom I didn’t experience was difficulty breathing. I had all the others. I was poorly for a good 6 weeks, and it took a few more before I started feeling properly well again.
Most of my friends had similar.
I visited my Dad in hospital in January on the day he had a stent fitted. He and my brother have remained well.
I’ve spent time with friends since lockdown was eased - they and I have remained well.
I’ve walked around shops without a mask (before it became mandatory) with little chance to keep socially distant, and have remained well.
Did the Covid cases rise after the BLM marches a few weeks ago? No.
The reason they’ve risen is because the kids have gone back to school. But then, all the germs always come out when the kids go back to school - it happens every year without fail.
But here’s the thing - any virus or bug is life threatening to the vulnerable. We don’t get locked down or told to wear masks.
SARS and MERS and Spanish flu and Asian flu were bigger killers - we didn’t get locked down and told to wear masks. "
