70,000 college kids have contracted covid in the USA, since they returned from their summer break.

Only three of those kids had to go to hospital, none of them needed a ventilator.

well apparently this Remdesivir is a miracle cure that prevents American Covid Deaths unless you are from a poor ethnic background in which case you can't afford it and Trump doesn't care because you are unlikely to vote for him

up to 712 now 8 locally but 20 to 30 in Grotsville and surrounding villages

Lincoln now up to 568 but that is a much smaller population than SKDC

there has been a significant surge in Rutland as well

but rest of lincolnshire and Melton doing OK

Local cases are connected to 2 primary schools and Morrisons supermarket and steps to isolate have been taken so hopefully won't spread much further [-o<

Same this week.

Sadly the RSCH, the largest hospital in the South East outside of London, no longer has no covid inpatients.

It now has one mild case inpatient.

there's plenty more of them around being shielded isolated. If this carries on at current rate we will have all hospitals overflowing by Christmas and deaths will be over 75000

up to 799 positives now and rising at 15 to 30 a day :? 19 in Stamford in the last 7 days

Lincoln jumped to 647 looks like they are having big increases as well rest locally not too bad

I notice in the top 10 councils per 100000 daily cases 4 mersey side councils listed I hope Mr T is keeping safe

It will be interesting to see what tier we end up in

SKDC is currently 110 per 100000 which would be tier 2 but the rest of lincolnshire is well below that so will they put us with the rest of the county in tier 1 or make us tier 2 ?

well according to the new website SKDC up 168 to 948 positives plus 1 new death in the last 7 days 8-[

It is getting a bit frightening now although I keep hearing lots of people saying preparations for a circuit breaker lock down are in hand for next week. I think it is too late for that now

Very little we can do now but pray that when we inevitably catch it we get the less serious version

There is plenty we can do, we can keep a proper distance, wear face masks, wash our hands regularly and not get [edited by admin] up.

You are saying about the extra death, how many have died of cancer, of heart disease, of dementia?

FFS calm down.

Cases per 100,000 in the week 10-16 October (average for England is 96)

Manchester 404

South Kestevens 107

B&H 77

Lewes 40

Liverpool 568

It's crystal clear where the problems are.

yes not in Lewes

if you look deeper into the SKDC figures the cases per 100000 in Grotsville are 236 and Stamford about 115
