If anyone wishes to understand why cases are going up, yet hospitalisations and deaths are reducing, the FT did a good article it recently. https://www.ft.com/content/c011e214-fb9 ... obal-en-GB |

And if anyone wants to know where we are in relation to getting a vaccine, this fella who is absolute mustard, does a daily vlog on his YouTube channel and today updated us on the three main (non Chinese/Russian) vaccine contenders. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-oQI2RoXPI&t=682s |

and in todays top ten councils for infections per 100000 at number 2 is LIncoln up to 356 positives two or three weeks ago they were one of the lowest but I suspect we won't be so far behind with all these school infections we are up 13 to 466 |

still increasing rapidly we are up to 498 now almost caught up with latvia on the wash The trouble is who they are and where they are is the big secret so difficult to avoid. We need some sort of system in place to help the uninfected make informed choices enabling them to stay that way |

Quote: The worried well are buggering up the system. When you offer those without symptoms a free test you will have loads of people taking the test unnecessary. However many MPs haven't helped by promoting, in the past, the above. |

Quote: definitely going the wrong way Well spotted. However cases are going mad throughout Europe, but thankfully deaths are not. My YouTube mate Dr John Campbell (please have a look at his videos) did a video the other day quoting recent research that during the early part of the pandemic the number of daily cases was running at the 240,000 mark. He is also very confident that the three leading (non Russia/China) vaccines will be available Dec/Jan/Feb time. And they are the Oxford one, the Moderna (USA) one and the Pfizer (USA/German) one. |

up another 9 to 518 over the weekend only Lincoln is keeping pace with us at the moment although in terms of cases per 100000 we are only 4th worst in Lincolnshire. Got told today by someone whose mate is a civil servant that the government are actively planning a 2 week lock down BUT are trying to hold off until half term. If they leave it that long I think we could be looking at a 4 to 6 week lock down. heard yesterday that someone I knew died back in July but his health was in a very bad way anyway! Personally I think we need full social distancing, compulsory masks and the pubs restricted to outdoors only or food only service NOW!!! |
