Got our first one booked for Monday. Seems that now the quarantine has been lifted a few 'emergency' trips are dribbling through.

we got a trickle of work and then a few at lunch time but we seem to have lost a few regulars to other companies and a lot to the army of volunteers. The town is getting very quiet

I’m averaging five jobs on an 8 or 9 hour shift. Had a bit of luck yesterday with a £40 job and a £35 job. Had a go at the euro lottery while my luck was in. :D

I won the jackpot! I went back the newsagents to claim it, they said they couldn’t pay me out there and then so I asked for a refund and got my £2.50 back. :D

Our takings this week, 1st full week back, were at 53% of the takings before the lockdown. I thought that was pretty good considering that we did not have the full number of drivers out.
