Obviously cab driving can be worse for many things on the list, but these two in particular spring to mind.

Can't stand this statement. My Wife says it.

"Taking Over" or "Take over" would be to Hijack or to take command of the other vehicle.

The correct term is "Overtake".

I realise that StuartW is not the author of the offending statement.

Indeed, I'd noticed that, and in fact I changed the similar one about cyclists.

From:
Hesitating about taking over a cyclist

To:
Hesitating about overtaking a cyclist

Should have also changed the one you highlighted.

Another ambiguous one is:

Driving somewhere with no signal

For a second I thought this was something to do with signals/indicators not working, but of course it's a mobile phone signal :-s

Which is obviously quite a modern source of driving stress, but funnily enough there's nothing about the older-fashioned type of signal/indicating [-(

yes that was very stressful today happened to me 3 times and on one of those the car decided to overtake very slowly by going past at only 1 MPH more than the cyclists speed

My worst one is having to wait to overtake a slow vehicle because the cars from behind overtake you and the slow vehicle.

People who drive in lane 2 of a 3 lane motorway when lane 1 is empty. Lane blocking/hogging the road/whatever you want to call it. Mostly done by cab drivers late at night for some reason. Remember people, we drive on the left in the UK EXCEPT when overtaking.

Cyclists who don't use lights at night.

Cyclists who disobey traffic signals.

Cyclists who don't wear light clothing or reflective clothing at night.

Uber drivers who haven't got a clue where they're going.

And the slow overtake, usually done by the aforementioned in lane 3 when lane 2 is blocked and lane 1 is empty. I tend to continue in lane 1 regardless providing it is safe to do so. And it's legal. :)

Because they are f***ed and need the space either side.
