but over 90 per cent of the members never post  it would be nice to hold a good debate with a dozen or more posters once in a whileanyway here's to the next 600000 if any of us are still around when it happens |

The only thing the trade is bitterly split on, or maybe was 5-15 years ago, is restricting taxi numbers and that debate is never a reasoned debate. Thankfully people realise, to a degree, that folks views on this rarely change so it's a tad pointless using our energies over something that will get us nowhere. It's taken about 17 years to get to 400,000, love to get it to a million in my lifetime.  It's also worth noting that the site gets several million hits every month, some by bots but plenty by real people, so even if folks don't post many still get something out of TDO. |
