It would appear that we have vehicle manufacturers becoming licensing authorities setting vehicle standards to access their app. This is a very dangerous precedent, no one in the present pandemic which has seen a 80%+ drop in patronage can afford to renew a vehicle (forced to be an E/V.) by 2024. If the prices of E/V were reduced significantly by these manufacturers then some may consider switching. Many proprietors because of personal circumstances will not be able to get finance on these vehicles. |

Are you saying App companies shouldn't have standards just take anything a licensing authority licenses? What if their customers require better quality vehicles? |

If this pandemic goes on much longer this particular app. possibly will do a u-turn as there will be insufficient vehicles to provide a service and what they were proposing is not setting a standard but acting like a dictator. |
