Anyone out their doing any delivery work for apps such as Uber, Deliveroo, Just eat etc?
Few people doing in here in MK Taxi drivers, Ph drivers and saying the rates are better than taxi fares and can come go as you like and can be paid into bank account daily.
seems a good idea when their is currently no taxi work, actually considering it myself haven't been on taxi since nearly a year now just the odd few weekends in summer thats about it and considering after speaking to few drivers not much work on taxi actually thinking it'll be a good idea.

Does come to something when you can earn more for delivering a pie than delivering a person.

Quite a few drivers around here (Chester) have been doing it, both P/H and HC, they’re now saying the rates and number of jobs has dipped as there are so many doing it. One of our drivers (HC) is doing deliveries for Amazon in his own vehicle. He looks on their App and sees what routes are available, what time and what they are paying. If no one ‘bids’ for the route, the closer it gets to the time the better the rate, sometimes a £40 route can offer £60 the closer it is. If he leaves it too late and misses out, he’s not that bothered as he is on a radio system that still has moderate levels of work thanks to contracts with several NHE providers.
