I've never done schools, but the info I have gained from mates over the years is that some parents have such a high sense of entitlement that I'm glad I don't do schools.

They should all be grateful their kids are being taken to school and back paid for by the taxpayer.

had one 4 year job, transport paid AND £15,000/year school fees, all on the state, 1 family moved from a £300k house to another without selling the first, dad owned an engineering firm, house had 3 cars (nice ones) a £8000 motorbike and a nice Caterham kit car...

It is not a matter of knowing how to work the system. We take kids to a school that costs a lot more than that per year all paid for by the state. They have special needs.

They spent £10,000 on a legal case to have the kid "statemented" by experts, once thats in place it all follows on

the lad was dyslexic but claimed to be arachnophobic (and could spell it)

Dyslexia is word blindness not necessarily an inability to spell

My granddaughter has a form of Dyslexia, she can read and spell just the same as everyone else but when reading the letters may appear to be mixed up but still knows what the word is.

the trade off is, no drunks/runners/late nights/early starts and possibly 4 years work, plus this last 12 months, 100% payment even when no schools open

it has been noticeable some firms not interested i school work are now bidding low for the benefits..
