well My lot got their season cancelled for the second year in a row but somehow made to the quarter finals of the FA trophy losing 2-0 at home to Hereford behind closed doors It is quite the topsy turvy season for many divisions still playing but at the end of the day I think at the bottom of the tables at least will probably see few escaping so how is it going to end up Premier league man City keep losing at home but are somehow well clear at the top at the bottom end Brighton have managed two wins out of their last 5 so should be safe but not so sure about Newcastle The championship I think is still quite open but league 1 seems to have sorted itself out with Lincoln City managing 2 points out of 15 to seal their automatic promotion as Jimbo predicted so who supports a team that has actually completed the season and has it worked out as you hoped and expected ? |

Funny game football. The Imps might remain in a play off spot. Or not. I know everything is hilarious to 23 with his lols, (which I thought stood for laugh out loud) the subject is football, covid, (pangolin flu?) or the death of Prince Philip. But never mind, we can dream. |

It's the fact that you jinxed them that's hilarious ! Quote: Funny game football. April The Imps might remain in a play off spot. Or not. Jan 26th Quote: Should resurrect this edders, with Lincoln City at the top, of course!

Looking forward to watching the “Denials” play Lincoln (United) at Ashby Avenue next season?

The Albion have the best team they have ever had, and can beat anyone on the day. The fact they haven't is a pain, but next year all the kids will be a year older and more experienced.

I’m happy so far, but on this day in 1974 Ron Saunders is sacked after a run of poor form before he accepted a role to manage Second Division outfit Aston Villa. City finished 14th during his time at the club, but he guided the club to a League Cup final, which was won by Wolverhampton Wanderers. The previous season, he had led Norwich City to the same final, and had lost to Tottenham Hotspur. As Manchester City manager he won just a third of his games in charge, scoring 38 goals in 29 games. |

He became the first manager to take three clubs to the League Cup Final in three successive years. He re-established Villa as a top First Division club, winning the League Cup again in 1977. In 1980–81, he guided Villa to their first First Division title for 71 years.

Yes, I am going to the game ![]() Lincoln v Blackpool at Wembley, with the Imps defending their 100% record there. We made hard work of it, surrendering a 2-0 lead, but Tom Hopper scores and saves the day. 9,999 Sunderland fans leave the stadium of light crying their eyes out, me grinning from ear to ear, getting funny looks, but keeping my head down. Up the Imps! |

Up the Imps! so for me being a Lincolnshire lad I should be rooting for the Imps but as one side of my family is from Blackpool and I did once go to Bloomfield road in the 70's and watched a game Looks like I'll have to support both sides c'mon the tangerine imps !!

Quote: Lincoln v Blackpool at Wembley, with the Imps defending their 100% record there. that's the thing with 100% records they inevitably get broken Look on the Bright side at least they can be a descent team in League one instead of the whipping boys of the Championship next year
