This summer the standard 95 octane fuel will be changing across the U.K. to E10.
This means some vehicles made before 2011 may not be compatible.
♻️ E10 helps cut out carbon emissions and is now the standard petrol.
The change in fuel applies to petrol ONLY. Diesel vehicles are unaffected.
More info and to check your vehicle is compatible:

there is probably less than 5 percent of cars on the road incompatible with E10 as we are one of the last countries to adopt it and they can run on it but it would rot the fuel lines if they are of unsuitable grades of rubber

All current fuel has 5 percent bioethanol it's just a doubling of that very little difference except possibly a slightly higher octane rating although I suspect the refieries will "balance" that by sticking more lower grade Naptha into the mix

hope it goes better than when they removed the sulphur from diesel and added 5% bio thereby fecking up HDi high pressure injector pumps at £1500 a pop

I believe most forecourts will still be offering 5E fuel on at least one of their pumps for several years to come.
