Being ancient, I was inoculated in January and April. Yesterday I was pinged by track and trace by text message, not the phone app, to be told I had been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for coronavirus. I know who the person is, they are not particularly ill with it, and I am not showing any symptoms at all. Nevertheless, I have been told that I MUST, self isolate for ten days from my last contact. Why, why, why? Absolute nonsense. From the 16th August this will not be necessary. From today, double jabbed travellers from the US will not have to quarantine, so why have I got to? What a load of bollaux. No wonder the country is going to hell in a handcart. |

Two things. Firstly, you must be the only cabby in the UK that hasn’t deleted the ‘test and trace’ app. Secondly, the reason you had the jabs is to stop you dying. |
