| Post subject: | Insurance cancelation and refunds |
My insurance expires feb 18th My school run ends march 31st To hand the run back before renewal id have to give 4 weeks notice (i.e. jan 31st) I wont get the renewal quote before march 18th My broker wont commit as to refunds if i cancel the insurance... any ideas or are they all different? |

I have no idea… what you are asking. What happens between insurance expiry on feb 18th and renewal quote on March 18th? |

As far as I'm aware refunds for early surrender of a policy have always been entirely at the insurer's discretion, but I'm sure it's all in the small print. |

If i insure till end of school run (march 31st) id be 6 weeks into a new policy (cant see me getting new run due to knowing what tenders make now after covid having seen what 1 firm who snatched 10 routes gets paid, which explains why 9 out of the 10 jobs are done by tatty 2010 octavias and toyotas on 300k mileages) So id insure Feb 18th and me done March 31st, probably paying £1400 to work 6 weeks Feb 18th to March 1st is half term leaving 28 days school work
