So for all those people who slagged them off, including all those numpty councils and councillors who knew best, it appears that in fact they knew sweet f*** all. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-59083491 I'm a lucky so and so that has never smoked a fag in his life, and never will, however I know loads of mates who are still working and possibly not dead due to e-cigs. |

I disagree. The vast majority of ex smokers who vape use them as a replacement for fags, not as a method to give up completely. They then fall off the nicotine waggon and start smoking again. I started smoking at sixteen, and gave up completely when I was 21. Never touched one since. To me, ecigs are to smokers what methadone is to junkies. Your mates are still chugging away on their vapes, I would guess. Have many, any, given them up? |

But lots of people use them rather than smoking, and even if they do go back at some time, even that is a small step forward that can hopefully be repeated in the future. Several of my mates have tried everything, but the vape is helping them stop nicotine intake, and for that I thank the Lord for vaping. I just wish they had arrived before smoking killed my mum.
