so still got the driver who stepped on a screw stuck in hospital 10 weeks now and with 4 operations and zero toes remaining on his left foot and no prospect of getting out this year.

Last Sunday and Monday another had chest pains but didn't go hospital till Tuesday turns out he was having multiple heart attacks and now has a stent fitted but lost 25 percent heart capacity and won't be able to drive for 3 months

then last thursday another suddenly developed a chronic condition with floaters and tendrils in the eye and discomfort so doctor decides over the phone it is a detached retina and immediate driving ban luckily in that case specialist today says not a detached retina so can return to work

But another driver phones me this afternoon to tell me doctor has ordered him off the road for 7 days due to an infection (or is it covid and he's not owning up :-k )

and to top it all today a driver who packed in 2 years ago after major heart surgery has died from multiple organ failure due to terminal cancer but I only found out after his wife texted me this morning to tell me he was seriously ill

Really not sure why you felt the need to post this. Are you looking for sympathy for your plight?

Same here...no more contracts due to the council pretending that in using a 16 seater minibus to take the only four kids that qualify for School transport at the local village School will leave a smaller carbon foot print than a four seat taxi.
