Anyone else out there, besides me, ( and her indoors) have never, ever, done a LFT, PCR test?

Had the jabs, all the jabs, just don’t see the point in tests. Not asking you to explain to me the tests, just don’t see what possible good it might do to me or you.

Had my jabs, 1,2,3, and now I am truly full of [edited by admin], as many have been telling me for years.

Can I say [edited by admin] on here? Probably not.

Take it easy tomorrow, no 23 hour shifts now, gi yoursel art attack!

I think testing defo has a place.

For those going to hospital it makes sense to test and separate covid folks from non-convid folks.

Same as folks going on a plane or cruise ship.

I think Covid if that's what you can call the omicron variant is now so widespread testing is now irrelevant

just test at hospitals/ports etc. to identify those entering with it but we will all have probably caught it by the end of January

I have arrived from Spain today. I had to take a lateral flow test at 11.45 yesterday and I took my day 2 PCR test today before leaving the airport at 11.45. Tell me exactly the purpose of taking both these tests when it is said that it takes several days to test positive following contact with an infected person?

You are now one of those persons included in the statistics tables, there is not a lot of logic in having a test when it takes several days to get the result and in the meantime you are allowed to mingle anywhere you please.

my driver that has had contact with a positive relative says that you don't have to isolate if the contact was more than 48 hours before they tested positive now call me stupid but how long have they been positive before testing positive the test just says positive not how long you have been so

Actually you are not allowed to mingle when you come into the country. You must isolate until you get the test result back so no going out to see in the new year for us. Well, there is a small chance because I have already had an email to say that the sample has been received in Ireland and is undergoing testing so you never know the result could be in by midnight.

Not a bad service from Randox. Elaine got her negative result at 23.25 last night and I got mine at 00.23 this morning.
