Post subject:  Vehicle financing
Good morning everyone!

Two weeks ago my taxi was destroyed in a car fire, gladly I had no customers on board and I only suffered a bit of toxic smoke inhalation, however now I'm without a car, does anyone know any lenders that finance used cars or provide fair loans for bad credit? I would really hate to give up taxiing just as things are really improving.

Firstly, is your insurance paying out, will you see any of that?

whats your budget?

whats your licensing policy requirement? (age of car etc)

have you a deposit?

are you on good terms with your bank?

We use cab direct. A lot of finance companies wont lend for a licensed vehicle.

Might be worth looking through the latest PHTM.

Some of the firms have options for those in the trade whose credit worthiness isn't exactly A1.

Which I suspect is the vast majority. :roll: :roll:
