cancelled the insurance, a refund was sent to the last card used to pay for insurance but that bank account was closed in May, they were told but said they had to pay back to that card...

so where is the money, will it bounce back?

If you transferred to another bank account direct debits etc it will be automatically shifted to your new account. And that applies for seven years.

if they tried to pay to that account the bank systems now tell you its wrong but in this instance it was just "repay to card"
