Wife had had a scan yesterday, had a cannula, came out booked a taxi as i was covering her school PA job, taxi picked her up, pulled away, went round the BACK of the hospital and picked up another job!

he dropped that passenger first in town (wifes route went nowhere the town) without charging and told wife "dont worry i not charge you extra" !!!!!

Needless to say I am on the case

Taxi or PHV sharing by advanced booking (Section 11, Transport Act 1985)
This legislation allows operators to set up an initiative for up to eight passengers to share a vehicle. Passengers will be matched together based on their origins and destinations and booked in advance with agreed separate fares - each price lower than a single hiring. This legislation allows for one-off shared trips e.g. passengers travelling from/to a common origin/destination such as an airport transfer, or for more regular journeys e.g. daily commutes to a train station for onward travel.

Either that or it's some kind of contract job, hence no money changed hands.

But Mrs Wanna must have surely got a feel for what was going on as regards the second passenger, surely? Eg, freebie for friend, hospital contract, etc.

Probably that.

Suspect the office asked him to do the acc job as well as the cash job as it was running late.

Not good IMO.

cash or account matters not

Ah, you simply mean it was two different bookings in the same car =D>

You made it sound as if there was some mystery about the other booking, and that it may have been FOC.
