I think there was one in st giles in oxford but now its a flower shop I think perhaps ums could tell us about it

I'd be interested if any of the London drivers could let us know how many of the shelters still exist and where they are.

These really are a significant part of British taxi history.

Theres about a dozen, and as you are probably already aware, they are all listed buildings.

I use the St Johns Wood one, in Wellington Place.

The woman who runs it was a cook in the old chec. republic. Top nosh. :wink:

you are correct, its now a confectioery store, thier has been much debate about who owns it, but the council won
