Are there any laws regarding transpoting school children by taxi?
should we be taking under 16 year old school children with out escorts etc?
my concerns are for the drivers in the event of an investigastion etc!
i want to protect my livliehood and license and by transporting the above am i putting myself at risk?
or being a tad too cautious?

I would go down the CCTV route and cover all your bases. I don't think you can be to cautious in the times we live in.

An allegation against one of your drivers and it's game over. You know how the Law and the LA work, it's guilt before innocence not the other way around. :wink:

I suspect many of us think about these issues from time to time, but to answer your question I don't think there are any laws about carrying kids.

In fact as we are all CRB enhanced, we are of a select few professions that are allowed to take minors un-escorted. :shock:

As for protecting yourself from iffy accusations, then I think Mr Skull's comments on CCTV are spot on. :wink:

Yes, Sect 2 (4) of the GBC Not getting in my Taxi act 1987, as amended 2003.

Yes, I think if anyone has children sitting next to Mr Skull then cctv is definately required, anyone that cant even keep his own children sould be ruled out of transporting anyone elses dont you think?
