I hope everyone working NYE night earns a fortune, they bloody well deserve to. But if you don't, don't worry about it. There are another 364 days in the year to earn your money. It's not all about NYE. The last time I worked it, in an office hackney, I earnt an absolute fortune.

I'm staying well away from any crowds I don't want to risk catching these horrible viruses doing the rounds a few days before my cruise ! as for our locality we've lost 2/3 rds of our pubs and all 3 night clubs over the last 20 years there is just 1 busy hour between 12.15 and 01.15 then it dies. The local civic societies influence on the council coupled with the general trend since millennium have transformed the town from a vibrant party town attracting people from miles around to a quiet "village". |
