Does anyone have any insight into setting up PH in France, mate is moving to a well populated Brit area and is thinking of offering airport runs to them.

I would check out the local Ph market. You don't want to upset anyone right out the blocks, find out who controls what and I am not talking about the council. It might not be a problem but if it is I am sure the local cabbies will make their presence felt if you know what I mean.

This might sound daft but I would check with the local plod first. I am sure they would tell you if it's a bad career move or how to go about it without stepping on anyone's toes.

When in Rome and all that

I will be amazed if any large ex-pat community didn't have some sort of airport shuttle already in place.

And as every ex-pat community is chock full of retired cabbies, then I would imagine most of the work is well sewn up.
