France raising the state pension age to 64 from 62...

What is the minimum French State Pension?
* Guaranteed minimum pension income of not less than 85% of the net minimum wage, or roughly 1,200 euros per month at current levels, for new retirees. After year one of retirement, the pensions of those receiving a minimum income will be indexed to inflation.

If we were a French couple we would be on £490/week and 2 "unemployeds" could have our jobs

April 1st UK SP is £205/week

How much tax do you pay on income in France?
The minimum 20% tax rate is increased to 30% above a certain threshold of net taxable income (set at €27,478 for income received in 2022).

so above 27,478 its 30% tax, under its 20%
