man burns to death whilst people film it on their phones A man who set himself alight on a Tesco petrol station forecourt is believed to have died of his injuries. Officers rushed to the Tesco in Blackley at around 7.30pm on Monday following calls concerned for his welfare. Shocked members of the public sprang into action and managed to put out the fire before members of the emergency services arrived on the scene. Other witnesses were reportedly filming the horrific scene on their mobile phones. there's more but this gives the gist I have to say this is clearly a desperate act by someone who clearly needed help and support so to film his suffering and pain for "entertainment" is extremely distasteful |

You have got to be one sick c*** to film a fella trying to kill himself with fire. Had an incident here last week where a cabby was having a fight with some people in the street. Loads of people filming yet not one of them there tried in any way to diffuse the situation. Drives me mad. |
