Apparently £200 million pounds was spent over the weekend on tickets to see Oasis play definitely ( maybe ) next year. There is uproar because dynamic pricing came into play, and fans were paying eye watering prices for gigs that may never take place. More fool them. But I wonder where they got the idea from. I paid around £25 a ticket to take my then teenage kids to see them in Sheffield in 1996/97 I think. The Verve and Pulp were better than that shouty little twit in a bucket hat. Still, never give a sucker an even break, eh? £40 million in vat should keep ratchet reeves happy for a day or two. |

The mythical bolack hole which according to the IFS is 80% pay rises agreed by RR after labour came to power and only 20% extra costs of previous governments policies ![]() as for Oasis a bit over rated in my opinion but a starstruck fool and their money are easily parted

I wonder if people actually buy these tickets because they want to see the bands. Or is it because they want to tell every other c*** and his mate that they have managed to get the tickets?

Hotels and airlines do dynamic pricing all the time. It's also why you can get rooms/flights/tickets dirt cheap when demand is low. You'd have to pay me to go to see Oasis Quo. |
