The recent budget changes to National Insurance will drastically increase everyone’s costs, forcing higher school transport prices paid for by raising council tax. This affects not just SEND school transport but also food prices (Tesco, ASDA, Sainsbury’s predict 4%+ inflation) and sectors like hospitality and charities.
