I went away on holiday for a week, and when I got back someone had smashed my window and nicked my road tax, PCO car permit from the window, service history for the car, paper part of my driving licence and all my elvis cd's!!!!.

I reported it to the police and they were very good, a copper came round 2 days later and took a statement and said that there had been alot of car crime about a mile from where I live and that they had been doing alot of patrols in that area and that the thieves had moved up to my area.

He said they know who has been doing it, about a mile from where I live there is a load of B and B's where the asylum seekers stay and they were the ones that were doing it.

He said that they had caught a couple of them in the act, but the court just give them bail and they are at it again!!!

This is the part that has really p*ssed me off.

I phoned DVLA and told them about the road tax/driving licence and guess what?.
I have to pay£7 for a new tax disc and £19 for a new licence!!.
I am the victim of crime, and I have to pay, meanwhile jonny asylum seeker has his rent paid and is given a few quid to spend.

I am so p*ssed off with this crappy country I feel like saying b*llocks to the DVLA and driving around without the tax, but we all know what would happen-clamped!.

No wonder so many people are leaving this country.

Rant over.

Maybe the problem isn't those leaving but those coming in.

But your story is a story being told country wide, and I'm not sure we have anyone in authority that can sort it out.

You must have been gutted to find your vehicle broken into and belongings stolen, as anyone else would under the circumstances. I'm sure we all sympathise with you on that count.

Crime and Eastern European imigration seems to be on the increase no wonder the Government has announced a cap on immigration. Having said that, until the culprits are caught it would be unwise to place the blame on a certain section of society because in theory it could have been anyone?

Regards

JD

you listen to elvis? jeez you need to thank the thieves

of course the police were merely guessing about who done the dirty deed, I wonder if the same coppers who shot the brazilian or got the Guildford 4 and Birmingham 6 were involved?

If the police are anything like ours i doubt they'll do much crime against taxi drivers is pretty low priority
