Got a shock today, arrived on the ranks to find Survey being carried out, Saturday, everyones been paid, lucky it was pouring down all day big style, lucky no big queue's at any time,

On the private rank at the station they was there also, they even counted a Newcastle taxi who accidently slipped in the rank to drop off and had to queue to get out

another survey Thurday either 7 or 14 Sept, estimated results, no unmet demand, but the station rank, who knows, its restricted to 2 thirds of the fleet

Herd on the grapevine that some of the Taxi members have been having closed doors discussions with the Council, re having a one colour taxi with Council logo on the doors, so the public can ID thats its a taxi, I would have thought a top light would have said it all, anyone agree, oh the colour the taxi members want, black in 2010

Why can't these taxi doo gooders people stop interfering, the job runs its self without all this

I have noticed, hey have a look at Yorks taxi association website, they are running around with this web address on the back of taxis, what a bunch of w^nkers, sorting problems out for other taxi drivers,, they can't get a grip, or even can't or don't know their website has been hijacked by some Indian outfit, this has been like it for months. w^ankers the lot of them

How perceptive of captain cab, who is absolutely correct, stinky pete fell out with the local association who he had supported for years over some childish issue

When has it ever been any different in the taxi/PH trade?
