I was approached by a Pink ladies driver today asking could i change a tenner because she'd ran out of £1 coins, i changed it and clearly heard her say to her customer "thats £4.20 please" and give her the change. Whilst i was writing her reg number and time down to query it with the LO, my passenger asked what i was doing and when i told her she said she pays cash every time she uses them. Isnt this part of there get out clause, not taking cash bookings? btw, i only changed it to see if she was charging cash. |

As I've mentioned before we have a local cab firm which is running an unplated limo(7 seater) driven by licensed hackney drivers I wonder what the position on that is because they are also doing cash jobs |
