Local Associations put together by local drivers to work with local councils to provide the best possible service to local people and to visitors.
Subscription to a Regional Association for help advice and support.
Subscription to a National Association for consultation and communication with government.
I don't believe the current NTA or even the region aspect is working properly ........................ but there are people involved who are seeking change. Remember you can only make things better if you get involved.
If you don't want to be dictated to, if you want input into your own future you must do something yourselves, don't rely on National groups seeking members look for a National Group seeking to support you.
Get organised, form a local association, elect yourselves the people who will represent you where it matters most ......... at local council.
Then if you need help or advice affiliate to the National Taxi Association who through your local Region will be of great assistance.
The MOST important aspect of representation is having input ........... its not about joining something where they only promise to save you money on things your already entitled to discount on.
