So what happens when your CRB is still valid but the Council still want you to have another one before they'll issue you with your badge 9 weeks before Christmas.

Used Disclosure Scotland on line and got hard copy within 48 hours! Some people round here used the paper method and still took ten weeks! Silly silly question that springs to mind - the on-line version is almost instant but if you use the paper method taking ten weeks what happens if someone is convicted in that time? Or arrested? |

Can you apply for your CRB check yourself, or do you have to apply for it through your licensing department ? |

Don't tell anyone right ............. keep this a secret ................ if you go to the people who organise school transport and go onto their tender list or list of approved contractors they pay for your crb, you then need to take the certificate to licensing for your badge. I just got my disclosure certificate back yesterday and I'd forgot I'd applied for it. Don't forget to keep this quiet mind .................... its quality information. B. Lucky
