As for Xmas, well I suspect they will be busy, but then again so will you and your colleagues.

Don't have them around here - we're forgotten in the winter wouldn't worry though as there are plenty of pick ups from the bus stops to keep you busy all night long X

Night buses were a dismal failure in Lincoln, too expensive, too long a route, I live one mile away from the pick up point, it would take 40 minutes to get passengers here, for £3 each. More than two passengers, and a taxi would be cheaper. At the end of the first "trial period" each passenger was subsidised by £12 each, and it was hailed a "success!" Finally died a death when not a single passenger used the service one weekend. If they were not subsidised so heavily they would lose money hand over fist. What an outrageous waste of ratepayers money. |
