well just discovered i've been banned from fastblacks within no time. only registered on there to put a link to Press Cuttings Monthly on there and when i wanted to reply to scotties comments i got the following message: sorry TM you are banned from using this forum! Abuse, and inability to post sensibly....!! What the hell is all that about....? think its because TDO is the forum we chose to recomend and scottie doesnt like it......!! who's been upsetting him off here then...? or is the list quite distinguished. think i had about 9 mins time logged on there as a user..! whats the record before been Banned...? |

I spoke to Scottie about this and the problem seems to be that you registered and posted from your Blueyonder address in Bradford with no problem. Then apparently an attempt was made to use your account from either taylor's or thomson's computer. How could that be? They are on BT in Scotland, in and around Edinburgh, or so Clouseau told me!! Hence the message you got. So do you know them perchance? Up for Xmas even? |

Scottie can phone me anytime on 01274 420029 [office] |

Scottie can phone me anytime on 01274 420029 [office] I have checked the forum logs again this morning and corrected the issue which was merely an problem between the forum software and AOL. It amazes me that a small administration error generates such a response from you when a simple email enquiring about the matter would have resulted in its being corrected sooner. Don't believe all you read or hear from some here. Many of them seem to have a problem with fasties and are so gullible that they are willing to believe any tittle tattle served up to them regardless of its truth or otherwise. |

Your registration and posts came from your office where you use Blueyonder. The failed login attempt came from an AOL server. IP address: 195.93.21.9 Log in: TM Date & time: December 19, 2006, 20:40:11 If you have any further issues, why not raise them with the people concerned? When CC asked about it, that was the first Scottie or I knew of the problem. I'm sure if people have a problem with your magazine you don't expect them to write to another magazine in order to solve it. |

No. I am saying there was a problem caused by the way AOL issue IP addresses. This has now been rectified. You can log in from anywhere as is the norm. The error logs are there for reference and show every failed login attempt. Most problems are due to forgotten passwords and the like which require no attention. Wrong about Scottie, he has no issue with you . Neither have I, other than the route you have chosen to solve your problem. I have no desire for any reciprocal link, but thanks for the offer! You seem to have aligned yourself with this forum which in my humble opinion advocates and actively promotes lies, and unfounded claims. Just look at Sussex posting on this thread. He has no basis in fact for any of his comments and like others here perpetuates them as if they were fact. They are no more than ignorant heresay comments made by people with no knowledge of the people they attack and next to no knowledge of hardware and/or software applications and their use. |

Alan, you are a sad little man. Do you really think you can stop me getting back on fasties if I really want? Not only can I get back on but I can view everything on the forum if and when I choose.
GET A LIFE

Alan... you say this site advocates and actively promotes lies and unfounded claims...? as someone relatively new on this site compared to other users can you tell me and remind other users what they were...? 1st... can you explain what the lies were and when these were posted and by whom....? can you go back and quote them on a post....? 2nd...can you provide evidence to counteract the lies hence proving thats what they were...? and the user posting them is a liar or misleading people for their own gain.....? reference the route i have taken in highlighting the fact is simple. Scottie banned me from posting on your site. so being banned i cant let you know about me wanting to find out why i was banned...!! because i cant post the f.....g question...!!!!! |
