hi again People
it's been a while since I posted with my usual noob questions, but i do read the new posts here most days After waiting what seems a lifetime for my PH drivers and ops licences to come thru the post, I am now ready to rock with the exception of two final bits. 1. Vehicle Licence & Plate (test is done) 2. insurance After getting over the stumbling blocks of wanting to use a LHD vehicle, I have now hit a big hassle with insurance, as in only one company wants to offer cover @ the generous price of £2300 !!! A bit more than I had reckoned & would mean my standing costs @ £60+ a week for what was to be a part time business. Anybody here running an import & prepared to give me an idea of ins cost, or a contact ?? To make it worse, it'a american, but imported from japan ! |

thanks Sussex, another site to add to my list of places to while away the hours at work
It's not a limo I have, it's just a 7 seater, unfortunately made in the states and imported here from the land of the rising sun

I think if those chaps don't know where to get LHD insurance, then no-one will.
