I think the Administrators of this forum should take steps to censure anyone using blasphemous, profane or racist language in their post.

In recent posts by J. Davis he has used the word "Fack" repeatedley, I do not think changing one letter alters the fact that he is using a term that is considered obscene and offensive by most people. In the same post he uses the term "dopey p***k" where he does not bother to use the asteriks. These terms and others like it are not necessary and add nothing of value of the argument in the post. In fact they show a lack of imagination and a desperation in bolstering a lost cause.

More disturbingly I find parts of his post racially offensive, I will not repeat any part of it so as not to cause further offence but it is there if anyone wishes to read it.
There is a fine line between inhibiting free speech and censorship of things likely to cause offence. But no post should offend, demean or alianate anyone because of any ethnic or racial differences.
I hope everyone who supports the banning of bad language and racist remarks whether direct or implied expresses their support on this forum.

How long have you been coming here??? if you start calling people names you better get used to getting some of it back. Aint no use in whinging pal. jd don't call anyone names so he must have thought you over stepped the mark when you persistantly called him and others names. Mr T, you present a very good arguement but give up with this moron JD, don't you you know that this is the infamous Dusty bin in another guise. He lost the arguement a few posts back by stating

He has certainly cast a slur on our Asian friends and if it was someone else who posted it then it would be deleted.

And as for saying that his plate doesnt own him anything after spending good cash on one ( or so he says) then he is the idiot.

I am quite happy in the kitchen and can take any heat, it is the gutter or the language of the gutter I object to and find borish.
To be offended I would have to have respect for the person insulting me, to put a value on their opinion so there is no danger JD or his like causing me any offence. I did not call him names, I gave my considered opinion of him or what he was saying it was not based on his ethnicity or racial origins. What he said was a slur against Asians and West Indians.

This forum is serious,but also light hearted with a minority of postings.
The balance I find is good,again facking and the other slurs you mention,do not bother me,although I can also see your point of view,and it is up to the administrators what to do,regarding this.
Transvetite CHARLIE used to post on the forum,tongue in cheek,but this was changed to hairy CHARLIE,and some postings deleted.
The administrators seemed to find Charlie,s postings under the transvestite name,I suppose,not very nice.
They were I think funny and harmless,but they took umbridge to him.
What is good for the goose,should be good for the gander.

Any hope of useful debate is generally thwarted by JD or Sussex who like spoilt brats shout down anyone else that posts. They opine on every subject invarablely an great length and little substance. Every topic is turned to their petty rants and any meaningful dialogue is buried under the deluge of bigotry and their self promotion. How many potential posters have been deterred by their domination. There is a clique, an "in crowd" that uses this forum to seek attention for the sake of attention. Like old taxis, lots of noise, lots of smoke but no power and only the scrapheap to look forward to.

As I said on another thread, in the context of most of those buying plates knowing the full inns and out of OFT/de-limtation, I think JD is right.

I only wish he was wrong.

Go back to the post where someone mentions 'pot and kettle' or words to that effect.

Or go back further and see the names I have been called, do I care, not in the slightest, because I come across such people time and time again.

In fact if people started being nice to me, I would have failed in my endeavours.

Forums such as these are ususally bias to the viewpoint of the moderators and owner/s.

This site is no different, they are anti anything or anyone who would stop them from getting a free plate.

Are you then speaking for yourself or on behalf of the whole County.

But one thing those behind TDO dont do, and that is force anyone to post or read the forum.
And has anyone either paid to post or seen any advertising in it?

its normally jd and sussex who stimulate debate I've never seen sussex or jd call anyone the names that you so conveniently resort to. Calling someone a leach, parasite and product of the welfare state is highly objectionable. You don't really expect anyone to sit ildly by while you villify them with impunity. I think jd was very patient with you he could have torn you to pieces long before now but i suspect he gave you enough rope to hang yourself. if you refer to someone as an idiot, moron and pompous pratt you must expect some kind of reaction.

You must be one stupid prat to suggest dusty is jd. If your only contribution on here is to bad mouth dusty then we are not interested. Go to a forum were your childish input will be apreciated, it certainly isn't apreciated here.



jd got it right. The harsh truth is sometimes unpalatable but we have to live with it. I sometimes wonder when i visit online taxi forums such as this why there is a marked absence of asian input.

And, how do you know that there is no Asian input? However, as JD/DB has shown his view on our Asian friends then we know EXACTLY how the Admin on here operates! Any proper Admin would have deleted the post that stated from JD/DB

But, if there is a lack of input from the Asian sector then you have to ask why? Perhaps its because this is only a little forum run by little people that makes no difference whatsoever to the taxi trade in the UK. Although 10 out of 10 for this forum trying to make an effort.

Perhaps our Asian friends are hard working people getting on with the job and fighting in their own corners. Just because it is alleged that there is no Asian input on this little forum does not mean that there is no interest from the Asian sector. In fact the insinuation is extremely pompous and insulting.

I know that this forum likes to have its own clicky crowd, and lets face it, there are only a few regular contributers. Dont for one minute think that this little forum makes any difference to the taxi trade in the uk. Its just a sounding ground for moaners and wannabees.

And yes Cgull, no one forces anyone to log on to this forum. But it makes interesting reading to see how racist and belittling some people are in the taxi/ph trade. Have YOU become one of the "Clicky Gange" too.
