Taxi/PH radios and hand sets are exempt from the mobile phone penalty acts. But of course you could be done for driving without due care and attention, if you are deemed to be driving without due care and attention.

So whats the difference between a phone in your hand and a mic when driving apart from the fine and points not a lot really. I hope they don't ban the use of a mic |

I had a Parrot bluetooth fitted if someone phones and I have a punter in the car I just say "I'm driving and I'll call them back" Unless it's a sales/advertising firm then they can get lost. I was thinking of the bluetooth headset but I'm not that into retro StarTreck

Fine £60 plus 3 points that do not make prizes. Well officer its not a mobile phone its a wireless 2 way radio, I can here them and they can here me
