Won't Traffic Wardens now have to take a photo of the car with the parking ticket on the windscreen just in case the driver wants to take it to court?

I wouldn't know, the last time I got a parking ticket was in the late 80's.

Where did you hear this? In any case they may aswell have 40, they are useless. How many convictions have there been in the last few years? Less than 10 and all them came in one swoop during christmas 2005 whilst using undercover people as punters, then again it's not hard to spot them as they walk about town in their illuminous yellow/green jackets with Sefton Council emblazoned across the back.

One driver got 8 points, the next time I saw him he was parked up outside a town centre pub with his engine and lights off.

Just out of curiosity are hacks allowed to park up anywhere to wait for some to walk over to them? ie, outside a pub or club?
