After 1 year of argueing the toss with York City Council re Lead [PB] taxi meter seals, why should I put up with it.

I got this today
the Council have been in touch with Digitax, the meter people, who state that the Lead seals are only dangerous to the people who fit them

I asked what about me in the dark having to accidently touch them when doing meter totals etc etc., oh don't touch them they said

I explained that I have contacted many people in the Health and Safety, along with my Doctor who says they shouldn't use PB [Lead]

The Council Taxi staff, I asked, why can't you use plastic seals like other LO's, answer , er, how would you fit a plastic seal

Lead is a silent killer

One of my cars has a Digitax meter and it has a nice lickle rubber seal. (and I can't work out how to get any totals up on it!)
