The new permit year has arrived The driver [who owns the vehicle] who has paid for his Stn permit, has had his cheq refused but will accept cheq from day driver, his application has been accepted by York Stn Taxis so far so good but from records from a few years ago it seems that he refused to pay for a weeks radio rental due to equipment being down York stn Taxis will accept a cheq for this, but want 3 weeks payments, the driver states I only owe a week's rental but the equipment was down and never used it, thats ok says Stn Taxis, just pay us 3 weeks from years ago then we will process you, can you put that in writing says the driver, yes once we receive the 3 weeks due, your in to good to be true Stn Taxis are conning him |
