Post subject:  Anyone drive for Addison Lee?

Ok so shoot me down for this newbie question but I have looked through all the old posts for an answer but have yet to find anything!!!

I am in the process of getting my PCO license and want to drive for a company such as Addison Lee or Blueback (not keen on picking people up at 3.30am for them to be sick in the back of my car). Does anyone know what the deal is with these types of co's i.e. how much they charge for rental, their commission schemes and what they reckon you can earn (and what you really can although I am not holding my breath for someone to answer that!).

I live in London and if anyone can provide any rough guidance in regards to how much a good quality car can bring in in a week and when the best times to work would be it would be much appreciated.

I understand that people must get bored with newbies like me coming in and asking how much can I earn? But believe me the information you wise guys tell is quite often very helpful.

So I will stop now but anything you can tell me would be very helpful.

I think it's a case of testing the water and seeing if you like it.

There are many firms out there wanting your rentals, and you never know one of them might be worth paying it for.

I can tell you how much a real London Taxi can bring in, then just double the working hours, and you'll have the Minicab angle on it. :D

Is that helpful enough Dusty?

There's a simple explanation for that.

Try searching in Croation or Polish. :D

It would appear not, so you have been nominated by TDO to find out for us all the full SP on Addison Lee.
