I kid you not.
Whilst meandering around Tesco this morning after a rather good day, courtesy of the RMT union, I saw a Mini-cab t-shirt. Cherokee have a beige t-shirt (£10) with the logo emblazoned on the front 'Dastardly Mini-Cabs' 'All drivers trained in dastardly deeds and dirty tricks, if you are dissatisfied with our service, too bad' Brilliant, even Cherokee are taking the [edited by admin] out of them!
I bought 4
Buy one before they run out! |

Tesco do not like taxis full stop, and they wont allow a rank at any of the stores and as that's the case we should boycott the stores by refusing to pick up there when called

No Guss I sit at Asda when the rank is full, Tesco has just built one of there super stores here and i refuse to pick up there until they provide a taxi rank that was on the plan and the planers at the council have said they must provide one. nearly all the company's here are doing the same there is just one big company who refuses to toe the line, but we are telling every one if they want a taxi dont call from tescos or the wont get one |

If it was on the plan then they should have it. What are the council planners going to do? |

We are trying to find out, but as usual there could be a few brown envelopes floating around, tesco even brought in a large portacabin and opened it as a basic store while the main store was being built and they never applied for planing permission for it, tesco has the knack of sticking 2 fingers up to anyone in authority. |

Keep on at the planning dept. and try to involve the local press (elected officials rarely like bad publicity) I wish you luck.

So no doubt there'll be a freephone instead of the taxi rank? Much more profitable - every little helps! |

They don't mind the ones that pay 1000s for their free-phones.

yes they will allow a free phone but due to the cost involved no one wants to put one in. remember this is a rural area and the population is around 18,000 in my town. and there is now 107 plated cabs and 5ph ( 3 came on last week) that only do school work. |

Make them an offer of £100 a year then.
