Yea they are good bits of kit Trevor. You have splashed out a good few quid there mate....
I cant recall if the 390 is 2 and 3/4 ? I think it is. Do you have anything that takes 3 inch + for wildfowel. If your a real bad shot you could always go for one of these http://www.camo-store.com/download_file ... 0AA-12.wmv Not a chance in this country.....
Here is another forum as well mate. Its a mixture of loads of fieldsports....some good lads on here ! http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/ |

The 390 is a good fun gun, three-quarter. good for long shots. I had a biretta ultra-light 28 inch what a kick . even with 24..... would love to have a day or two shooting as long as we can eat what we shoot, my Browning is a lot cheaper than the boat and easier to move around... |

I always shoot for the table Trevor and never just for the sake of a kill... Well why don't we have a dodge out and make loud banging noises together...lol I Promise I will not mention TDO...( see I tell lies...lol ) You are right the lighter the gun the kick increases mate... Them benelli autos are murder for it, !!!!!. Full choke...never mind three quarter...Its all down to skill then....hehehehehe I have a tatty old side by side what I use and bought for training...Full and half choked...really good to improve your skill with and if it got damaged its not worth the price of a half sucked polo ! I have been asking Mick if he fancied a look out as well but he did not say owt ! Give Mick a buzz and tell him to pick a day and we can meet up and all go for a dodge out... I will look at a few farms in the next couple of days and see what the situation is, ( The pheasants need to be left for a little while yet...not quite big enough ) I have one place in mind...up in cumbria...hard bare ground and a lot of snap shooting required. Nice walk though...hehehehe !
Ring Mick and I will do a bit scouting...PS DO NOT ARRANGE FRI OR SAT....hehehe When the kids are off is best...cos I have contracts to do. Even a sunday is OK..For a walked up Rabbit day ! Its a canny place up there ....little waterfalls look...
Sunday and Christmas Day Shooting No game (including hare) may be shot in any county on any Sunday or on Christmas day. Before the passing of the wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, Orders prohibiting the shooting of wildfowl on Sundays could be made under the provisions of sections 2 and 13 of the Protection of Birds Act 1954. Although Sunday Orders can still be made under Section 2 (3), none have been made. However, some Sunday Orders made prior to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 have not been repealed and are still in existence. They have the effect of making it illegal to shoot wildfowl on a Sunday in the following counties (or parts of counties in existence before the 1974 re-organisation): Anglesey, Brecknock, Caernarvon, Carmarthen, Cardigan, Cornwall, Denbigh, Devon, Doncaster, Glamorgan, Great Yarmouth County Borough, Isle of Ely, Leeds County Borough, Merioneth, Norfolk, Pembroke, Somerset, North and West Ridings of Yorkshire.
