Post subject:  USEFUL WEBSITE DOWN

I have tried to log on to tapin2 taxis for some case law and it appears their site is down.

This is quite a good site operated by a solicitors in Swansea, does anyone here know any contact details.

Thanks for any help.

The site is running on a Windows server and the database has failed. It'll probably be back online soon.

I found the email webadmin@tapin2taxis.co.uk hidden in a google cached contact us form, if that helps.

I've taken these details off another site.

If you run an association or firm that could benefit from having a retainer with a specialist solicitor contact Keith Jeffreys on 01792 881339 or 07966 220535. Alternatively e-mail keith@keithjeffreys.co.uk Regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority

Hope they help.

Free advertising on TDO? lol Has Mr Jeffries got any recent testimonials to recommend him or his firm to TDO subscribers?

For instance do we know his views and appraisal on the unreported case of Watson v Birmingham city council? Perhaps we shouldn't be so hasty to endorse third parties without knowing their true capabilities?

It should be noted that practically all solicitors along with Barristers have good results and bad results. Keith Jeffries is no different. He's had much success and many failures how they balance out I don't know but I've come across several taxi license cases lost by Kearns & Co and Jeffries so one thing you should remember is that many solicitors will take on a case regardless of whether they think it is winnable? So always get a second or first opinion before you embark on an exercise that might leave you stony broke, out of pocket and then some?

If you have a brain in your head all the information you need in order to determine the weight of any anticipated legal action in respect of Taxi licensing is within these four walls. Keith Jeffries was Kearns in-house licensing solicitor and TDO in the past has acknowledged Kearns as being one of the best in respect of Taxi licensing, a great part of that endorsement is down to Peter Maddox who is without doubt one of the best licensing Barristers in the country. Keith Jeffries is also to be commended because he, as I have already said was Kearns licensing solicitor. I believe Kearns don't do Taxi licensing anymore since Jeffries left.
