Again in January's PHC magazine one of the top men at the PCO gave a stat that nearly made me choke on my muffin. 
He said that last year, out of all of the 45,000 licensed PH vehicles, he only had 61 complaints. 
He went on to confirm that he understood many folks don't bother moaning, but none the less that's a fine stat from the PH lads in London.

Well if he can state these figures without also stating that they're no doubt unrepresenatative of the true picture then it's no wonder people don't bother complaining? |

Considering over 400 Licensed Minicab drivers got arrested and charged with touting, I would say the figure of 61 is a load of crap. |

Another thing I noted was that 90% + of the PH fleet in London were less than 10 years old. Now I know that elsewhere that's nothing to write home about, but for the recently licensed PH trade in London I think that's well done.
