It seems Shearer will possibly join Keegan. I hope he does as it will get a monkey off the shoulder of any future manager of Newcastle, he has been hanging around like a bad smell and has made it hard for the guys before him. God only knows why they think Shearer will make a good manager, many a good international footballer has failed to cut it. |

Who exactly wants Shearer to manage NUFC ................. its newspaper talk ............... nothing more and nothing less. He will not take over as manager because he knows he struggles to get respect from the players ................. but as normal it does his public profile no harm when he panders to the scumbag journalists who are constantly claiming the "toon army" want him. I'm not saying never ................ I'm saying that the majority of the real TOON ARMY want him to get a bit of experience first, and that is not going to happen when we have an ego as big as Keegans (which is a good thing) in control at Newcastle. ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK Result tomorrow ...................... Newcastle 3 - Bolton 1 (Owen first goal) should get decent odds on that. B. Lucky

Another quote from Keegan, "I am the best qualified person for the job." What qualifications does he have for the job? Does it say on his CV, " never finished a job yet." |

Lucky ![]() Only having a smile I do not wish ill of them. It seems that the fans get so starved of success they tend to grasp any thing that might give them what they crave. I cannot believe that they let a golden opportunity go where they could have possibly signed a world class manager, and then they would have had a chance of continuious success. Keegan is offering them entertainment, but will that be enough? When they tally up what they have spent and what they are about to spend, then I do not think that it will be - and neither should it. |
