So, what's stopping vindictive people reporting innocent drivers?
Agree, total sad and useless website.

That site should be listed on here.

There's a chap called "findus" from NE Lincs who has made 375 posts.

Must be dangerous up there.

Is there anything sadder than some geezer making pointless post after pointless post? What do you think Sussex?

This site and some of the posters were featured in a bbc documentary last month ! They interviewed that bloke from NE Lincs. I think

Unfortunately this sort of thing is becoming more and more common there seems to be quite a large number of people out there who feel it is their mission in life to turn everyone into "stepford drivers" of course very few of the posters on that website drive for a living

Can't say it's the sort of thing I'd contribute to, and it's clearly open to abuse, but it's a bit sad that those posting to the site are held up to scorn and ridicule, while the numpty drivers are in effect deemed to be the victims.

Ok, perhaps some of those complaining about the site above are numpty drivers themselves, but given that jimbo in particular has never broken the speed limit in his life then you'd think he'd be in favour of holding bad drivers to account, whatever the deficiencies of the chosen method.

And Jimbo's objection to the site didn't stop him second-guessing a court of law last week and concluding that an assaulted driver had made it all up

Then he claimed that drivers getting grief from passengers had to be in the wrong. I suppose that when someone attempting to take drunken/drugged up yobs to task is beaten, stabbed or murdered then jimbo will conclude that it's the victim's fault for taking them on.

Gosh, it must be wind up Jimbo week (or month, or year).

I don't object to the site, I just don't see the point, in what way will it have any effect on poor driving standards. If I posted on there I would be naming and shaming half a dozen a day. A bit like the stupid polls in certain newspapers, (bring back hanging? call 0845 tophim for yes...)

Maybe it's time for my very own thread, this one seems to be going way off subject.

Well I actually agree with much of what you say in your post, but the tenor of the previous posts was different IMHO - they weren't saying that it was merely pointless, but instead clearly that the complaintants' actions were undesribable in some way.

I mean, you could just as well say that many things we do in life are pointless, but on the other hand why point out that what others are doing is pointless since what I regard as pointless others may derive something from it.

For example, they may just like sounding off - no doubt we all relate tales of bad driving that we've witnessed to colleauges and friends, and to that extent it's pointless, but we do it anyway

But when you think that there is only about 2 people sad enough to be doing all of the reporting on the whole site, 90 taxis between the 2 of them isn't bad going, really.
