They give NVQ level two's away with every packet of Cornflakes. They go up to level five now so ideally you want to be aiming for levels three, four and five.

Why not look at an Open University degree course?

Hopefully your leg will be sorted in far less than it takes, but go for it.

I did the NVQ a few months ago. They gave us all the answers before we took the tests. According to the instructor, the fewer people that pass, the less funding they get.

I suspect some councils do the same with knowledge tests. If some Liverpool multiple owners had their way I'm sure they would prefer to do away with knowledge tests.

That is the biggest pile of garbage I have ever heard in my life.

I say that because the NVQ doesn't involve any questions NOR does it require any tests.

So Mr P.Y22 ......................... send me details of the provider, and without mentioning any names I will start a process that will see them loosing their acreditation and their funding.

The funding for NVQ is dependant on many more issues that candidate success .......................... but I repeat that NO NVQ REQUIRES ANY TESTING AND THEREFORE NO QUESTIONS ARE REQUIRED TO BE ANSWERED.

Stick to Taxi Law JD .............................. Levels of NVQ define different skills AND ARE NOT therefore relevent to someone who doesn't have a requirement for those skills throughout their normal working day.

These are not gradings of competancy.

Looking back over the thread, I got a bit messed up. I've done the level 2 BTECH, leading up to the NVQ, which they DID give us the answers to. So sorry for the cock up, but that doesn't give you the right for the [edited by admin] attitude "Mr GA".

If you look at the OP, you will see that he mentions doing it by post, that is what lead me to think it was the BTECH he was talking about, I called it an NVQ because it had obviously stuck in my mind with the OP calling it that.

OK I take it you know all about NVQ's or you think you do? So we'll leave it at that and i'll let someone else explain the NVQ grading system to you.

Sorry p.y22, but when you make a statement that you recieved the answers for an NVQ test before you took the test I needed to point out that in order to attain an NVQ there is no requirement to take a test so no answers are available, and your slur on the award needed to be corrected.

If in your opinion that makes me an [edited by admin] in your eyes then so be it ......... I will lose no sleep over what you think of me.

Things get to "personal" on forums ............ or should I say taken too personally.

Thick skin me ....................... and some would say the same about my head.

Facts though remain as stated.
