I caught the end of a programme on Radio 4 in the week.

About health issues in Bradford I believe. Studies there showed that taxi drivers were the unhealthiest by a long long way. The report said their research showed 90% of drivers were obese and spent up to 15 hours a day sat in their cars eating a poor takeaway diet.

I think the answer is that the council should appoint some fitness and lifestyle coaches who could tour the ranks organising some keep fit and diet classes for the drivers whilst they are waiting for their next fare.
